This field guide highlights the most frequently observed fungi documented through the Elwha River Fungal Biodiversity Survey. It is designed as a practical tool for volunteers and collaborators, providing a visual reference to the species most commonly encountered.
While the survey has documented over 500 taxa to date, this selection represents a core subset that participants are most likely to encounter. As the project continues to grow, this guide functions as a living resource, supporting both field identification and long-term biodiversity documentation.
