Burke Museum Herbarium

Oliver Fillaluna is a collections specialist and data manager focused on mycological archives and biodiversity datasets. He has worked as a fungal collections assistant at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture and as lab manager for the Forest Mycobiome Lab.


He holds a B.S. in Organismal Biology from Montana State University, where he studied with Dr. Cathy Cripps, and an M.A. in Museum Studies from the University of Washington, where he developed digital repositories for mycological collections. His work centers on data curation, collection management, and the history of mycology and mycological communities in the United States.
