Mycologist

Lauren Ré is a mycologist and nature educator with a focus on Waxy Cap fungi (Hygrophoraceae). She is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.
Her background includes the study of cryptogams, including fungi, lichens, and bryophytes, at The Evergreen State College. She is dedicated to helping naturalists build skills for studying and engaging with biodiversity.
