Humphrey Hernandez Jr. is a Kaua‘i-based naturalist and field guide with a strong interest in fungal and plant biodiversity. He spends much of his time exploring the island’s trail systems, documenting local species and deepening his knowledge of Hawai‘i’s ecosystems.

He supports field coordination and provides local ecological context for Biodiversity Collective projects on Kaua‘i.
